America Recycles Day 2006

America Recycles Day November 15th, 2006
America Recycles Day Expo at City Hall

On Wednesday, November 15, 2006, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the City of St. Louis celebrated America Recycles Day with it's Second Annual ARD Expo in the City Hall Rotunda. Open to the general public (free-of-charge), the Expo featured businesses and organizations that exhibited their recycled content products, recyclables collection and processing services, and educational programs. alaskan cruiseAt the America Recycles Day Expo, visitors had the chance to make the 2006 America Recycles Day Pledge: A commitment to improve their recycling efforts over the next year.

ardbikeSigning the pledge automatically entered the signer into a drawing for an all-expenses-paid 7-night Alaskan Cruise for two (adults), a recycled aluminum content bicycle (under 18), and a variety of other post-consumer recycled content prizes.
