Book Swap - New This Year! Bring a book to share, take a book to read. If you'd like to donate prior to the day
of this Expo, please drop off books at the City of St. Louis Refuse Division, 4100 South First Street (2nd Floor) between
the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. By sharing books, you'll save trees, and have more people with
whom you can discuss those stories and ideas!
The Upcycle Exchange - New This Year! "Upcycling" is about creatively repurposing
or reusing things that still have plenty of life in them. Visit with The Upcycle Exchange and make upcycled gift
tags for the upcoming holidays (you know, for those gift certificates and hand-crafted gifts you're sharing with family
and friends). They'll provide some neat cardstock and share tools (e.g., fancy tag punches, holiday stamps) for you to
design your own gift tags. The Upcycle Exchange http://lucoop.com/pilot
is a program "...aimed at initiating a cradle-to-cradle inspired production concept for the indie craft community. The basic
premise is that customers can receive incentives, such as discounts on merchandise or other perks, when they collect and
donate materials that crafters use to create handmade merchandise." For a list of reusables that you can donate to or
acquire from them, visit http://lucoop.com/pilot/wish-list.
Pledge to Recycle, and you could win a prize!
