The City of St. Louis offers this list of retailers, which is not inclusive, to help citizens buy reused and recycled products. The City does not endorse any of these businesses or services. Space does not allow us to include all stores and products that may be applicable to this list. The variety and availability of these products in stores may change at anytime.

  • Tongue cleaners, toothbrushes.
    Environmentally Friendly Operation:
  • Online subscription program. Products also available locally at Trader Joe’s (in Brentwood Promenade), at Wild Oats or Whole Foods Market, or online at GreenMarketplace.com.
  • 100% recycled plastic in handle, at least 65% recycled yogurt cups.
  • Preserve products and packaging are completely recyclable with postage-paid mailer available at stores or from Recycline.
  • Recycled toothbrushes are sent to a plastic lumber company and made into park benches, decks, and bridges in wilderness parks.
  • Packaging: Paper insert is made from 100% recycled paper, 50% post consumer waste. Case is made from renewable wood products.
