• This non-profit organization is a "one-stop arts, crafts and science education resource and activity center" where you can drop off household "leftovers" free of charge or pick up supplies (for a small fee). They reuse a wide variety of items, including aluminum pans, CD's, egg cartons, film canisters, light bulbs, metal juice lids with rubber seals, Pringles cans, Styrofoam balls and meat trays, toothbrushes, vinyl, x-ray film, and more.

• The St. Louis Teachers' Recycle Center, Inc. gathers creative materials from local business and industry that are landfill-bound and makes them available to teachers, parents and youth groups.
• Free, inservice training for educators and students is available in the form of their “Hands, Heart and Mind” workshop. Discover the potential for curriculum development using Reusable Resources.
• "The Play Experience, Play for Peace" is a workshop for adults that explores creative play as a source of wisdom and healing. Discover new ways of developing the power to think creatively, to collaborate, and to communicate across emotional, cultural, and socio-economic barriers.
• Free of charge, their traveling Recycle Center Van, called “Van GO,” can schedule a stop at your school, preschool, day care center, or any children's program. They focus on "Hands on" education using Reusable Resources.
• They help develop inhouse programs for Creative Reuse materials through their PODS (Product On site Delivery Service), available only to teachers at participating schools. For $2,000.00 per year, once a month, they will deliver and restock materials, providing easy access to a large amount of Reusable Resources. Included in the PODS fee, they will provide 2 teacher workshops per year.

• Their “Drink Pouch Brigade” accepts drink pouches, which will be reused by crafting them into fashion bags, tote bags, and pencil cases. They provide pre-paid shipping boxes. Once filled with 200 drink pouches, seal and drop off at any UPS location. They will donate $0.02 per Capri Sun, Kool Aid, or Honest Kids drink pouch, or $0.01 for each regular drink pouch to a school or charity of the collector’s choice.
• Their “Yogurt Brigade” accepts yogurt cups, which will be recycled into planting pots. They provide pre-paid shipping boxes. Once filled with 400 6-ounce or 50 32-ounce yogurt cups (of specific shapes), seal and drop off at any UPS location. They will donate $0.02 per 6-ounce cup and $0.05 per 32-ounce cup to a school or charity of the collector’s choice.
• TerraCycle is not currently accepting energy bar wrappers, but they are taking names for a waiting list.
