Summer Packet

SLATE Missouri Career Center

UrbanWORKS

Welcome young adults to the start of this year’s summer jobs program. UrbanWORKS, SLATE’s Youth Services Department, is proud to present a program like none other — with four program pathways and job choices throughout our great city.

You are the UrbanFORCE that will Inspire• Encourage & Unite our city. The combined strength and purpose of our young adults will set us on the path to economic recovery. Become a part of this year’s UrbanFORCE: The Next Generation Jobs Team and showcase your skills and abilities. Prepare yourself for a brighter, green tomorrow.

The first step in becoming a part of this year’s summer jobs program is to go to the Summer Packet tab on this site and print the documents, review the information, gather supporting documents and complete the Program Application. Then bring the completed packet into SLATE; ask the receptionist at the front desk to see an Agency Reviewer. The Agency Reviewer will meet with you to make sure the packet is complete. Once the packet is complete the Agency Reviewer will give you a receipt. That’s it!

Let’s have an enjoyable and employable summer!
