Youth Year Round Programs

 

The SLATE Missouri Career Center offers a year-round program for youth ages 16-21. The programs offer:

· Work Experience — you can work in private, public or government organizations during the summer through the Summer Youth Program. There may be other work opportunities during the school year. Both of these opportunities allow you to gain valuable experience, not to mention a paycheck.

· Leadership Training Mentoring — employees can take you under their wing and help you do a good job.

· Guidance and Counseling— program counselors can help you decide on a career path that might be right for you.

· Skills Training — you can learn valuable skills that will last a lifetime in a variety of areas.

· Support Services — if you need clothes, food, housing, and more, we can help you find resources to take care of those needs.
