Laynie Bryant is a life long native of the St. Louis metropolitan area. She graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. While in college she co-hosted the weekly cable show, SIUE Global Village, worked on air at WSIE 88.7 FM and was published in the Mass Communicator. She began her work at STL TV as an intern. She currently works on many different projects, doing everything from writing and producing to editing and hosting. In addition to her work at STL TV she also enjoys spending time with her husband and her animals; 2 dogs, 2 cats and a turtle. She also enjoys writing, watching her brother play ice hockey and doing volunteer work for local animal shelters.
