Jeff Vernetti joined the STL TV team three years ago as the play-by-play voice of our JFL games and currently hosts Inside Sports and several other regular segments for the station.

In addition to his television work at STL TV, he currently serves as co-host on a daily talk show “The Sports Edge” from noon-2pm along side Jeff Gordon of the St. Louis Post Dispatch on “The Fan” KFNS (AM 590).

In addition to his duties on “The Sports Edge,” Vernetti has been a part of a number of exciting broadcasts. As a reporter, he traveled with the Rams in 2006 and 2008 and has worked big events from the 2006 World Series to covering the last three Super Bowls. He has also handled play-by-play duties for the Missouri Valley Conference Basketball Tournament, local high school football games, Genesis Mixed Martial Arts on FSN Midwest, and does regular work for the World Championship of Fantasy Football.

Vernetti is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and spent three years as a regular play-by-play voice and public address announcer for Southeast Missouri athletics. He and his wife Kelly have two children, Dominick and Isabella, and live in Ellisville, MO.
