VIDEO TAPE DUBBING GUIDELINES
The Local Government Access Channel videotape dubbing guidelines
are as follows:
1. Requests for dubbing of videotapes shall be submitted on
the “Video Dub Request" form (TV-F004). All duplication
requests will be completed in the order in which they were
received.
2. Only programs which have been produced by the Local Government
Access Channel (STL TV) will be dubbed by the Communications
Division.
3. All City Department requests for dubbing of videotapes
shall be accompanied by blank videotape(s) (VHS or DVD-R)
to be provided by the department requesting said dub. City
Departments and Agencies shall be charged time and material
for all videotapes provided by the Communications Division.
4. If the Communications Division provides videotape for dubbing,
said individual or organization shall be billed, at cost,
for the tape quantity used in the dubbing.
5. All video dubs will be held for pick-up.
All tapes
must be picked up within 14 days of notification.
If you request to have a tape mailed, you must pre-pay for
the postage.
6.
All video dubs provided by the Communications Division
are for private use only and may not be rebroadcast or used
in any commercial manner.
7. The Communications Division reserves the right to limit
the number of dubs an individual, organization or department
may receive. The maximum dub request for any one program is
up to four (4) copies. The appropriate number of blank videotapes
must accompany the dub order.
8. The Communications Division has maintained video archives
in the highest quality possible. However, due to technology
changes, tapes produced prior to 2002 may not hold the same
quality as current standards.
