The Land Reutilization Authority (LRA) acquired Gatewood Gardens Cemetery through tax foreclosure sale. Due to the nature of the acquisition we did not receive a complete set of records for the cemetery. SLDC, with the assistance of the St. Louis Genealogical Society, has been able to assemble a 90% complete collection of records.
The missing 10% of the records are located specifically in the Old Side (see map) of the cemetery, in Blocks Two and Four. These graves are made up of single grave pauper burials. They have no markers or surviving caskets, and the records give no information as to how they are organized.

All of the cemetery records have been microfilmed with the assistance of a state funded grant. Copies of the microfilm will hopefully appear in the agencies listed below in the future.
