Frequently Asked Questions
- What does the Residential Housing Development Section do?
The Residential Development Section fosters neighborhood stabilization and reinvestment by assisting developers (small and large) and neighborhood groups with financing for the rehabilitation or construction of affordable housing within the City of St. Louis. The staff also assists in the overall coordination and monitoring of projects selected for funding.
- Do you have money for investment property?
The availability of funding varies from neighborhood to neighborhood in the City. If an interested developer meets the necessary experience and financial criteria and has been approved for a specific project, the Community Development Administration will evaluate the project for potential funding under one of our program guidelines. CDA is a secondary source of funding that is provided as a loan, not a grant.
