- A. Annual Meeting.
- Once every 12 months, the Association shall hold a
neighborhood-wide meeting and celebration at which the Council shall
report on the state of the Forest Park Southeast Neighborhood and on its
decisions and activities. Any other matters of neighborhood interest
may be taken up at this meeting.
- B. Other Meetings.
- The Council may call other neighborhood-wide
meetings (Town Hall Meetings) from time to time. These meetings may
focus on a particular subject or concern (for example, a safety/security
meeting with the police or a meeting to discuss a particular development
proposal) or may focus on a number of issues or may be designated as an
open community forum.
- C. Notice.
- Written notice of the date, time and place of every meeting
of the Association shall be provided throughout the Neighborhood at
least seven days in advance of the meeting, except in cases of emergency
as determined by the Council. The meeting notice shall indicate the
type of meeting being called and the purposes of the meeting.
- D. Administration.
- The Council and its Administrative Team shall plan
for and organize all meetings of the Association. The Administrative
Team shall conduct the meetings of the Association.
- E. Meeting Groundrules.
- The Groundrules which govern the meetings of
the Council shall also govern the meetings of the Association. The
Administrative Team shall have copies of the Meeting Groundrules for
everyone in attendance at each meeting.
- F. Public Meetings.
- All meetings of the Association shall be public
meetings and shall be open to everyone who wants to attend and who
observes the Meeting Groundrules. Anyone who attends a meeting and who
observes the Meeting Groundrules may speak.
- All votes taken at an Association meeting shall be in public and, the
results of each vote shall be recorded in the minutes of the meeting.
All members of the Association are eligible to vote. The Council may
request an advisory vote on any matter from the members present at any
Association meeting.
