Article VIII - Communication

A. On-going Duty.
Communication is critical. The Community Council must do everything it reasonably can do to give people in the Forest Park Southeast Neighborhood complete and accurate information about the Council's activities and about all issues which affect the health and welfare of the community, its residents, its businesses and its other organizations and to encourage and enable people to express their views and promote their ideas to the Council and to all of the members of the Association.

B. Methods of Communication.
The Council shall use written notices, public announcements, community bulletin boards, yard signs, posters, banners, portable electric signs, The Forest Park Southeast Neighborhood Buzz, other newsletters, door-to-door campaigns, personal invitations, surveys, block captains and any other tools it can develop to advise Association members of its activities, to communicate important information to them and to solicit their views and their active participation.

To the same ends, the Council shall sponsor town hall meetings, public forums, neighborhood celebrations and any other events it can organize.

C. Duty to Sponsoring Organizations.
Each Council member who represents a particular organization shall develop concrete methods to regularly keep the members of that organization informed about the activities and decisions of the Council and about the issues that the Council is considering.
