Community Center Volunteers
Adams Park Community Center (APCC) will have a volunteer open house on Tuesday, January 15, from 5 pm to 8 pm. APCC volunteer coordinator Jayne Nucete recommends participation because sharing your time can make a difference. The APPC is building programs daily, and the open house is an opportunity to see the difference volunteers can make by sharing their time.
With the APCC programs, volunteers will find "a way to become involved and make 2002 a year of positive growth for themselves and their community," Jayne said. Start this year out right by resolving to do something wonderful, she added.
APPC is at 4317 Vista Avenue (right next to Adams School). You can reach Jayne to 314.633.7907 for more information about the open house or other information about opportunities and programs at APCC.
