The Council will take up whether it wants to act as the Neighborhood Leadership Team under ARCHS guidelines and work on an action plan to address class and race discrimination.

Review of October draft minutes (see other side).
 
Action plan to address class and race discrimination
A small action committee will work on the class and race issues in the neighborhood. After further discussion following up on the comments at the September meeting, the committee will choose its direction. ARCHS facilitator Serena Muhammed has agreed to assist in the effort and gather relevant materials.
 
Neighborhood Leadership Team - ARCHS Guidleines
ARCHS presented its criteria for a Neighborhood Leadership Team (NLT) on November 1. By the Council's direction, Bob atended. Handouts at that meeting (enclosed here) outlined:
  • Definitions of core results, benchmarks, stategies, and performance measures;
  • Role of the NLT and role of the Neighborhood Cabinet
  • Function of the facilitator and NTL, role of the facilitator, and role of the NLT; and
  • draft of NLT compact.
   The Neighborhood Coordination Team is applying to ARCHS to be the NLT and the Marcella Palmieri of the Housing Corporation is reviewing the proposed ompact for the HC's consideration.
   Serena will attend the Council meeting to guage the Council's interest, if any, in being the NLT.
NO December meeting.
