Review of May draft minutes.
 
Old business
  • Main Street: positive activities for the whole neighborhood; opportunities for businesses not on Manchester; the FPSE Showcase scheduled for September.
  • City's Affordable Housing Trust Fund: update on action of the board on the Mayor's plans for the affordable housing money
  • Parks project: the playground build day scheduled for June 22 was cancelled because of an emergency with Little Tykes; more details may be availabe by meeting time.
 
New Business
  • Voter Registration: the Board of Elections is willing to train a group as "community registrars." Would the Community Council and other organizations join in an efort to use registration and election participation to organize the neighborhood?
  • Sanitary, affordable housing: Taking care of housing problems reduces stress and improves health. Is there an opportunity for a grant from the new Missouri Foundation for Health to help FPSE residents who have very low income and face city enforcemnt?
