- The "exact agreement":
At the Housing Corpoation's October 7 Board meeting, a HC board
member asked Richard Baron (who was asking for a seat on the
Housing Corporation board) about the "exact agreement" among
the Washington University Medical Center, Urban Strategises, and
McCormack Baron. Baron said, in part, Urban Strategies
had a "program manager" role and was charged with getting
the Mainstreet project started.
- Fr. Gerry Kleba:
Fr. Kleba is the new pastor at St. Cronan. He has experience in
providing housing for people living in the inner city and is
interested in reaching all the people of the neighborhood. He is
invited to share his thoughts with us.

- Housing policy:
George Jones has materials on land trusts (see enclosed)
and the Council has funds to go ahead with its 501(c)(3)
application.

Support for Petersen Housing:
a letter is still needed in support of the Great Rivers proposal.
As of the October 7 Housing Corporation meeting, the position
of the HC was uncertain.

4500 Manchester: report on the drug and
prostitution activity; also, crime information from Rachel
Smith, the assistant prosecutor working in the neighborhood.
