New business --
  • Adams Park Community Center - in the past, the Community Council designated representatives to the APCC board. There are openings on the board that should be filled. The C4 group is trying to get minutes, budgets, and by-laws from APCC to build community involvement in APCC.
  • Law enforcement relationships - Rachel Smith, of the Circuit Attorney's neighborhood justice program, is looking for people to work with her and the police department on issues such as improving neighborhood - law enforcement relationships and helping develop a community-based board for crimes that occur in FPSE and for offenders who live in FPSE.
  • Information sharing - Mecham Park leaders, including Harriet Patton, will share some of their experience with redevelopment.
  • Main Street plans - Marti Latimore and architectural historian Karen Baxter will provide an overview of the scope of the project. This is an opportunity for residents to learn more about the proposed expanded boundaries of the existing district to include Manchester.
