A musician and scholar of international renown, Omoumi has performed in the United States and throughout Europe. His appointments at prestigious Universities include Tehran University in Iran, the Sorbonne in Paris and UCLA.
He will be joined by Dr. Fatemeh Keshavarz, Chair of the Department of Asian & Near Eastern Languages & Literatures at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Kesharvarz will recite the poetry of the acclaimed 13th-century Persian poet Rumi.
