Housing Conservation Districts

As a result of the passage of the Housing Conservation District legislation by the Board of Aldermen, inspections are required in Housing Conservation Districts:

  • When there is a sale of a residential building; or
  • When there is a change of tenant in a residential rental unit.

About 2/3rds of the City of St Louis is in a Housing Conservation District.
