Future Land Use Pattern

It is not possible or necessary to rebuild the whole city in a brief period of time. The broad pattern of land use previously described is logical and sound except for the conflicts noted. The future land use plan should bring about sharper definition of the various functional land use areas with ample room for each. Within these areas new construction and reconstruction can take place with improved standards of design, arrangement and open space.

The proposed land use plan is shown by Plate Number 9. The proposed new zoning plan, Plate Number 10, is the future land use plan in detailed form.
