Construction Progress Highlights 2000

• Riffle construction in Deer Lake Area is complete.

• Soft surface path has been installed in Deer Lake Area. The path opened for public use in June.

• Round Lake Bridge stone veneer construction is complete and opened for public use in early June.

• Old Stable Bridge Deck replacement is complete and the road opened.

• Landscaping in Steinberg area is complete. Forestry Department planted trees in the area and general seeding and landscaping was performed by the landscape contractor.

• Pagoda Circle Area planting is complete.

• Installation of decorative lights in Twin Lots is complete.

• The St. Louis Science Center has made improvements to the interior and exterior of the Planetarium. The most noteworthy is the dramatic change to the entrance.
