The Round Lake construction site is approximately 45 acres of land between the Fish Hatcheries and Steinberg Rink.

The completed construction work included:

• Construction of a pedestrian bridge.

• Construction of the waterway system including riffles, boardwalk and wetlands.

• Improvements/upgrades to infrastructure including utilities.

• Construction of dual paths for the "wheels" and "heels" to encourage active recreation in the area.
