The
City of St. Louis is working on the total renovation of Steinberg Skating
Rink. 
Work has included the placement of the concrete curb that surrounds the rink and the heating and support including installation, sand and heat tubing. Burley's Rink Supply, the rink contractor, is managing the installation of the heating and support system, concrete rink slab and the equipment in the mechanical room.
The general contractor has placed a decorative sidewalk around the rink, a firepit, limestone retaining wall, a flagpole with lights and landscaping items.
Other work included installing the drainage system under the rink, asbestos removal in the mechanical room, and installing the storm water sewer line along the new rink entrance road.
