Forest Park Southwest Community League
The Forest Park Southwest Community League was organized in 1991 to help facilitate cooperation between various community organizations near Forest Park and within the City of St. Louis. Its goals have been advisory only; having no statutory standing other than being reigstered with the State of Missouri as a non-profit organization. Rather, it was felt that such an aorganization could provide a forum for discussion of common community interest and needs. As such, it was thought that its individual member organizations could speak through this organization with a louder voice, once issues had been agreed upon. Meetings were being held at the Lindell Bank & Trust Company facility located at 6900 Clayton Ave. Member organizations and institutions listed at present as belonging to Forest Park Southwest Community League are:
