Lindenwood Park Neighborhood Associations ![]() Springtime in Lindenwood Park. Two neighborhood organizations represent portions of the Lindenwood Park neighborhood. Lindenwood Neighborhood Association (LNA) The Lindenwood Neighborhood Association covers the geographical area bounded by Arsenal Street on the north, Chippewa on the south, city limits to the west and Hampton on the east. The organization works for the general betterment, welfare and improvement of the area. Much of the orientation and fund raising of the organization is directed towards maintenance and improvement of Lindenwood Park - the major city park in the Lindenwood Park neighborhood. Approximately 450 families and businesses are members of the association. Annual membership dues are $12 for each member household. The association holds 4 annual regular general membership meetings the first Monday of March, June, September and December. The 2008 meeting schedule is:
The doors open at 7:00 PM and all meetings start promptly at 7:30 PM and are held in the auditorum in the lower level of the Union United Methodist Church, located at Watson and Pernod. Meetings have topics that are meaningful, stimulating and deal with issues of importance to the neighborhood residents. In addition to LNA members, meetings are open to all Lindenwood residents and interested parties. Please attend, bring a neighbor and a friend, join the organization and get involved.
The June 1, 2009 general membership meeting features Colonel Daniel Isom, St. Louis Chief of Police, and Ed Bushmeyer, St. Louis City Assessor who will discuss property reassessment for the City of St. Louis. There will be the usual public safety updates from the 2nd district police, and Aldermanic reports from our area Alderpersons.
