The
Stupp Center and Memorial Garden, constructed in 1982, was
made possible by a bequest from Louise Stupp. The Stupp Center's
handsome octagonal room and lounge, adjacent to a well maintained
garden and amphitheater, is consistent with the parks historic
character. A fountain, with an eagle sculpture on a red granite
pillar, is the focal point of the garden that is encircled
by a brick and iron fence. Louise Stupp designed this feature
herself.
