Date:Wednesday, January 14th, 2009
Time:7:00 p.m.
After a brief general meeting the Southampton Neighborhood Association will host its annual Winter Party. The location is at the Southampton Presbyterian Church on the northeast corner of Macklind and Nottingham.
Members are asked to bring a covered dish, appetizer or dessert to share with everyone. Those joining in the evening’s festivities will be asked to vote for their favorite delicacy. Your appetizer or dessert could be the winner! Make sure to drop your name in the attendance prize basket. Come spend a relaxing evening where you can meet new neighbors and make new friends. We will also have our SNA Cookbooks for sale. They make a great gift for birthdays or a special cook.
We will also sponsor a canned food drive to benefit the Bevo Mill Food Pantry. Over the past year many food pantries in the neighboring areas have closed. The Bevo Pantry’s list of needy families has grown. We can support this worthy cause with our donations.
Why not plan to attend the meeting and join the party? It will be a great way to begin the New Year!
