Tower Grove East Neighborhood Association
Founded in 1965, Tower Grove East Neighborhood Association is registered
as a 501(c)3 (non-profit) organization as Tower Grove East Charities.
Our mission statement is:
To achieve an outstanding urban neighborhood characterized by a
diverse population, unified in an atmosphere of trust, respect and
friendship.
TGENA has always been one of the strongest neighborhood associations in
the City of St. Louis. Our residents have led the way in all apsects
of neighborhood redevelopment in St. Louis. Our strength comes from
broad based resident involvement. TGENA provides leadership and support
for all neighborhood development efforts. We encourage all residents
to become members. We want your voice to be heard as we plan our future
together!
The Board consists of five elected officers, representatives of the eight
Standing Committees and non-voting Liasons to organizations that serve
our neighborhood. Additional Committees may be formed as needed.

St. Louis Association of Community Organizations (SLACO):VACANT
Board meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm at Five Star Senior Center, 2832 Arsenal (Arsenal & Oregon). Board meetings are open to all TGENA members.
General membership meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of each month at 7:30pm at St. Elizabeth's Academy on Arsenal Street. Enter from the back; parking entrance on Louisiana. The November meeting is the 3rd Thursday; no meetings in July, August and December. Baby sitting is free of charge.
The meetings generally last 11/2 hours. The agenda includes Committee reports, general announcements of upcoming events and a program spotlighting a topical issue relevant to residents. Check the Upcoming Events and TGE News for program schedules and meeting dates.
