Oak Hill Hardware was founded as the Edward A. Morgan Hardware Company on May 8th 1931 by Edward & Emma Morgan at 4067 Connecticut Street. In later years the name changed to Oak Hill Hardware & the store was moved to the current location at 4100 Connecticut Street.
The present owner, Don Scherer, joined the Company on May 1st 1975 and has continued the tradition of a family owned and operated hardware store.
