WEST END COMMUNITY CONFERENCE

The West End Community Conference was incorporated in 1955 for Civic and educational purposes. Most recently, we are focusing on Youth and Family oriented programs in an effort to facilitate a wholesome and healthy community that is safe for raising and promoting a family and conducive to personal growth. Presently, The WECC is contracted by the ST. LOUIS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (CDA) to deliver the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NDIP). This program entails rehabilitating 6 units of housing for low to moderate income families, maintainng an inventory of area housing and land and the promotion and beautification of the West End Area.

HOUSING REPAIR PROGRAM:

The HOUSING REPAIR PROGRAM is a program that gives resident a not repayable grant, if they qualify, for the repair of their residential home.
Currently, we serve the 26th and 18th wards.

DESTINATION MANHOOD:

A male surrogate parent mentoring program designed to teach young African-American males to assume the responsibilities of adulthood by using role modeling and setting positive examples.
