SUMMER RECREATION PROGRAM
DAYS ON THE PARKWAY (formerly “Days on the Mall”)
· The Dr. Martin Luther King Memorial Pot Luck Dinner
is our annual celebration of Black History Month.
Participants bring their favorite dishes for sharing at a
common table - fee - no cost - just bring food.
· The Honor Thy Mother Dinner
is a celebration of Mother’s Day where we preapare a gourmet meal
for the mothers and the money stays in the community for youth
service programs.
Cost - $20.00
· The Summer Recreaation Program offers artistic and recreational
discovery during school vacation Cost - free
· “Days on the Parkway” is a three day festival with live entertainment, vendor booths and carnival rides given annually at the Ruth C, Porter Parkway (formerly Ruth C. Porter Mall) - Cost - free entrance
